Boris Sichon, a Ukrainian Jew and recently landed immigrant from Israel, is a master percussionist and versatile musician with a collection of over 200 world instruments collected while performing in 25 different countries on 5 continents. |

Boris invites the audience on a musical journey, familiarizing them with the culture of different countries. He plays over 25 instruments from his collection and gives short explanations about each, as he introduces students to the rhythms of the Middle East, India, Africa and the Far East. "All musical instruments from around the world speak the same language, but sometimes they have a different accent." |
