Downloading PDFs

To simplify the transfer of documents and to preserve their format, Adobe Software developed an application called "Acrobat." Acrobat converts a document to the "pdf" format. Any PDF document can be downloaded from a web site, such as this one, to your personal computer.

Once downloaded to your computer, you can see the original document format on your monitor, and importantly, print the document, either in color or black and white, depending on your printer capability.

However, to read the PDF documents, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader - a free application, installed on your computer. You can download it for free from Adobe. Acrobat Reader is available in both Windows and Macintosh formats.

All of the individual performer's pages from the Bureau's catalogs have been converted to PDF format and are available for downloading here on the Bureau's web site.

To get a specific catalog page, click on the name of a performer in the list at the left and then click on the PDF catalog link on the right side of the page. It's just that easy!

The obvious advantage of PDFs is that your school can quickly download and print a page from the Bureau's catalog. This allows the key person at the school to share the information about a performer with others who might be interested. Downloading PDFs is quicker and less expensive than faxing, faster than mail of course, and the printed document is of higher quality than a printed web page.
