Ric Averill's
AESOP'S FABLES II
Ric Averill is a nationally-known playwright and director who has been commissioned to write plays for the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Coterie Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri, the First Stage Milwaukee and the Nashville Childrens' Theatre. Averill writes plays and music and is a talented performer and director himself.

These classic stories feature wonderful animal characters with "more than human" characteristics. Two actors play all the roles from the stubborn Mule to the clever Mouse, the vain Crow to the Lion, King of Beasts.
Aesop's Fables all have a moral - these morals teach some of the fundamental human values that we need to impart to today's students to make them better citizens tomorrow.
The teacher's guide provides a bibliography of many of the wonderfully illustrated versions of these classic morality tales. The transformational style of the Players will make all children feel like "I can do that" and want to get up on their feet with simple sets and costumes and bring these fables to life.

Students will laugh with the actors, feel sorry for them, and even help them in and out of the many predicaments that help teach the delightful lessons these tales have to offer. The actors bring everything they need and can set up in virtually any space, from classroom to professional theater. Book now!
